The Sulitjelma Project is an advanced-stage exploration project targeting high-grade Cu-Zn-Au-Ag VMS deposits in northern Norway.

The project benefits from a mining-friendly jurisdiction with a strong operational legacy, reliable infrastructure, and low-cost renewable energy.

The district is historically significant, with over 25 million tonnes of past VMS production at high grades of 1.84% Cu, 0.86% Zn, 10 g/t Ag, 0.25 g/t Au. VMS Exploration AS holds a dominant land position and has identified a multi-kilometre VMS horizon hosting multiple past-producing mines and newly defined exploration targets.

Historical data, geophysics, and recent fieldwork have highlighted strong upside for near-mine extensions and new discoveries.

VMS Exploration is conducting an extensive exploration program

Helicopter lift and tracked diamond drilling, with over 3,000 meters of drilling completed since September 2024 and more planned.

XX km of airborne geophysics. This is a state of the art “HeliTEM” survey capable of searching many hundreds of meters below surface.

Geological mapping and sampling at surface and underground.

Studies on the mining, processing and environmental needs to commence operations.

Geological and geophysical work is supported by new generation Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools.

The results of our work show several extensions of known mines across the northern belt between Ny-Sultjelma and the Rupsi deposits.

Underground work and drilling has shown that some deposits can be extended with current mining methods and metal process, and geophysics shows there may be previously hidden deposits more distant to the old operations. The 2024-25 drilling program also discovered a new deposit with copper, zinc and gold adjacent to the historic Ny Sulitjelma mine. The early drilling shows this deposit to be relatively high metal content, close to surface, and with potential for access from existing tunnels.

The Sulitjelma project has excellent infrastructure: Including roads, “green” hydroelectric power, and local support businesses.
